You are warmly invited to join us for an evening of connection, community, and shared imagining towards collective liberation at Kaleo Center for Faith, Justice & Social Transformation’s annual celebration and fundraiser - Night of a New Day, on Thursday, June 13th from 6p.m. - 9p.m. at Unity Unitarian Church, 733 Portland Ave., St. Paul.
We are thrilled to welcome Yavilah McCoy as our keynote speaker. Yavilah is a nationally renowned educator, organizer, and spiritual leader who draws on her inheritances of Blackness and Jewishness to speak powerfully to the ways that racism, anti-Blackness, Islamophobia, and anti-Semitism shape our lives, and to the ways that transformational solidarity can build a world where all of us are free.
Enjoy a special dinner of Indigenous foods by The Sioux Chef, music by The Lacewings, poetry by See More Perspective, and more.
Sliding scale registration begins at $0. Everyone welcome.
